Tourism

Boating, visits, outings… go with the flow

With more than 7 million passengers transported each year, the Autonomous Port of Paris, the world's biggest tourist port, invites you to make the most of the pleasures of the Seine, Marne, Oise, Yonne and Loing Rivers, and to discover the facilities along their banks.

A host of pleasures on the water
Trips, cruises and river shuttle services… all offer a wide range of activities, from reception on board the boats or on the quaysides to water sports and leisure activities for the young and not so young, not forgetting boat hire.
River tourism in Ile-de-France is organised around 70 passenger boat companies with a fleet of more than one hundred vessels, some thirty floating quayside establishments and a network of over 30 mooring places.

River passenger transport on the rise

In Ile-de-France, the world's N°1 region for tourism with over 45 million visitors in 2008, the Autonomous Port of Paris is also developing public transport on the river by developing and maintaining the mooring places, ports and banks along the waterways. This provides a means of contributing to reducing the urban pollution and inconvenience caused by car traffic.
