Eco-Comparison Engine
The Eco-Comparison Engine is a measuring tool used to assess the environmental impact on the Seine River Basin of a modal switch in transport from road to river.
Designed on the basis of a study conducted for the ADEME, Ile-de-France Region, Autonomous Port of Paris and the Ministry for Ecology and Sustainable Development by Grant Thornton and TLA & Associés, the Eco-Comparison Engine provides an online insight into the reductions in greenhouse gas emissions generated by the use of river transport.
