"Open Seine: rehabilitating the river ports in the 13th arrondissement of Paris"

The Autonomous Port of Paris runs four ports on State land along the river in the 13th arrondissement: the ports of Tolbiac and National, dedicated to industrial activities, the Port of La Gare, for entertainment and leisure, and the Port of Austerlitz, partly occupied by a real-estate development (general stores, Maison de la Batellerie and Customs buildings), which is to become a mixed-use port facility for cultural and leisure activities, passenger transport and urban supply-chain services, as part of the Docks en Seine project. In recent years, the Autonomous Port of Paris has rolled out a rehabilitation strategy for all its ports as part of the Paris Left Bank Enterprise Zone, with the aim of meeting the needs of the local population and the general public, and contributing to the development of river transport for passengers and goods, the main mission of the PAP.
