With its 26 ports in 3 départements (77, 94, 91) and on three rivers (the Seine, Marne and Loing), the territory managed by the Agency represents significant growth potential for waterway activity.

A practical example: Ivry-sur-Seine
This industrial port is home to a number of companies, essentially in construction and public works: 3 concrete production units, gravel production, ecological waste disposal (sorting and removal of standard industrial waste via the waterway), construction material trading, aggregate trading, construction works machinery rental and the removal of earth and excavated materials from building sites.
After the renovation of the industrial ports upstream and downstream in eastern Paris, a 12,000m² zone here dedicated to culture and leisure has put the finishing touch to the rehabilitation of the Port of Ivry, with the redevelopment of the quaysides to create areas open to the public and ready to receive ten or so boats (restaurants, shows...), either permanently moored or navigating on the river.

Heavy parcel facilities

On the Seine Upstream section, the PAP has 2 ports equipped with facilities for heavy or bulky parcels:

Evry (91):

  • draft: 2.80m,
  • vertical clearance at normal water level upstream at the Varennes sur Seine railway bridge: 5.69 m,
  • vertical clearance at normal water level downstream at the vertical Archevêché Bridge in Paris: 5.80 m,
  • quay length: 39.90 m, admissible load of 6t/m²,
  • handling zone: 90 X 35m,
  • reinforced zone: 696m² (26.80m X 26m), bearing loads of 18t/m² and a 550t 25m crane,
  • an 11m-wide roll-on roll-off ramp with an incline of 4%

Bray sur Seine (77):

  • draft: 2,20 m,
  • vertical clearance at normal water level upstream and downstream: 5.25 m,
  • quay length: 255m, admissible load 6t/m²,
  • handling zone: 225m X 20m,
  • reinforced zone: 400m² (20m X 20m), bearing loads of 20t/ m².

Public quays

There are several public quays at the disposal of shippers for one-off operations:

  • Corbeil-Essonnes, Evry and Dammarie-les-Lys on the Seine,
  • Lagny sur Marne and Meaux on the Marne.

These quays can take loads of 6 tonnes/m² on the wharf apron. The public ports of Corbeil-Essonnes and Meaux are equipped with chutes for loading cereals.
All requests to use a quay for one-off transshipment operations can be studied, subject to availability.
