Environment: a port amidst the greenery

The Port of St-Ouen l'Aumône is on the left bank of the Oise, 25km to the north-west of Paris and 5km from Pontoise. The Ile de Vaux hides the port behind a screen of trees and greenery.

The industrial zone around the Port of Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône is next to Cergy-Pontoise, and provides a link between the industrial zones of the outskirts of Paris (Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, Beaumont-sur-Oise, Bruyères-sur-Oise) and those of southern Picardy (Creil, Pont-Sainte-Maxence, Compiègne).

5 transport modes

Waterway: the Oise is a European-gauge waterway allowing transport in both directions: towards the North and towards the Seine Valley.
Self-propelled barges or towed convoys, from 250 tonnes to 3,200 tonnes.
