Environment: a port amidst the greenery
The Port of St-Ouen l'Aumône is on the left bank of the Oise, 25km to the north-west of Paris and 5km from Pontoise. The Ile de Vaux hides the port behind a screen of trees and greenery.
The industrial zone around the Port of Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône is next to Cergy-Pontoise, and provides a link between the industrial zones of the outskirts of Paris (Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, Beaumont-sur-Oise, Bruyères-sur-Oise) and those of southern Picardy (Creil, Pont-Sainte-Maxence, Compiègne).

Waterway: the Oise is a European-gauge waterway allowing transport in both directions: towards the North and towards the Seine Valley.
Self-propelled barges or towed convoys, from 250 tonnes to 3,200 tonnes.
Maritime: coasting vessels of 600 to 1,200 tonnes DW provide transport without break of bulk between the port and the British Isles, the Iberian Peninsula, the Mediterranean and Scandinavia.
Rail: the railway provides direct access to the Verts Galants industrial zone in Saint-Ouen l'Aumône via private branch lines from the main freight station in Epluches which is connected to the Paris-Creil line.
Road: located near the A15 between Paris and Cergy, with access from the N184 via a junction.
Air: Roissy CDG Airport and the Persan Beaumont Airfield
